Luke James is remaining humble after missing out on earning the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance. The songwriter turned singer was nominated for his first Grammy Award as a solo artist without releasing a full-length studio album. "No trophy here good people. but we did win. just the acknowledgement says we're headed in the right direction. thank you @TheGRAMMYs. next year," James stated.
Luke is moving forward with his debut album 'Made to Love,' which is scheduled for release this year. The creative direction of the album is a deeper expansion of his mixtape as he states, "I want people to be into me and hopefully I can become a necessity to them. I hope to make them feel good or get them turnt up or turn down; whatever they may need."
A new single, "I.O.U," leaked as James brings more heat with a simple cut to groove to. Simple in melody, James’ vocals don’t disappoint, as he plans on repaying back a debt of love. This cut is assumed to be from James’ highly anticipated debut album, Made to Love.
Expect to see and hear more of Mr. James this year as he plans on touring.
