Adele picked up where she left off last year by winning the first telecast Grammy Award of the night at the 55th Grammy Awards for the live version of her hit single "Set Fire to the Rain." She took the win for Best Pop Solo Performance Sunday at Staples Center in Los Angeles, beating out Carly Rae Jepsen, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Kelly Clarkson.
After jokingly call the sexily dressed Jennifer Lopez "my good luck charm," and insisting, "I just wanted to come and be part of the night because I loved it last year obviously," Adele gave a quick thank you and jetted off.
"I want to say massive love to the other girls and all us females doing this because we work so hard, we make it look so easy," said Adele.
Congrats!
