R&B singer-songwriter John Legend returned to his Alma Mater earlier this week to deliver a speech and answer questions in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. The "Green Light" hit-maker, who majored in English with a concentration in African-American studies at Pennsylvania University (UPenn), addressed current students at the 12th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Lecture in Social Justice, about playing their part in society.
After completing his duties, Legend took to Twitter to bask in his excitement. "I had a great time doing the Mlk lecture at my alma mater Upenn tonight. Thanks for all the great questions! Sorry we couldn't answer more," he wrote.
Great for Mr. Legend!
