Last night, Ne-Yo lit up the stage at the 2013 Grammy Nominations concert in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
The singer-songwriter provided an energetic performance, showing off his dancing skill to the Europop hit single “Let Me Love You” off his fifth studio album R.E.D.
An epic night for not only Ne-Yo, Frank Ocean was announced as having one of the most nominations this year, with six in total for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards (tying with Mumford & Sons Kanye West, Jay-Z and Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys). The “Think Bout You” singer earned nominations for Record of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (“No Church in the Wild), Best Short For Music Video, and Album of the Year, for his acclaimed debut album Channel Orange.
Singer Miguel trailed not too far from Ocean with five nominations, mostly off his smooth single “Adorn” earning him nods in Song of the Year and Best R&B Performance, Best Rap Song (“Lotus Flower Bomb”), Best Urban Contemporary Album, and Best R&B Song.
