Roc Nation’s budding singer-songwriter Bridget Kelly was all about giving back this past weekend. Along with America’s Next Top Model Dani Evans and Executive Vice President of Ciroc, Sean John and Bad Boy, Dia Simms, the “Special Delivery” singer helped mentor young women at a recent Watch Her Work event in New York City.
Here is the breakdown:
Watch Her Work, Inc. and Executive Vice President of Ciroc, Sean John and Bad Boy-Dia Simms granted exclusive access to 30 young women between the ages of 14 and 25 by taking them into the boardroom of Sean Combs Enterprises. These select young women spent a day at the headquarters of Sean Combs Enterprises learning the keys to entrepreneurship from the best of the best in a one-day workshop.
After an amazing talk on building a vision with Life coach Nitika Chopra, workshop goers learned how to get their money right with financial expert Lynesha McElveen. The highlight of the day was Dia Simms’ presentation on the distinguishing traits of being a mogul. The day ended with a fun panel discussion on balancing career and relationships. Workshop goers engaged with panel moderator and Essence Magazine Relationship Editor, Charreah Jackson as she spoke candidly with singer Bridget Kelly, America’s Next Top Model winner Dani Evans, and her beau America’s Got Talent wardrobe stylist, Shaundel Hall. The panel also included Ciroc EVP, Dia Simms and Bravo’s newest celebrity couple Alaska Gedeon [Warner Music A&R] and Kimberly V-[wardrobe stylist to Mary J. Blige.]
Workshop goers won internships with Teen Vogue, Warner Music Group, and Sean Combs Enterprises. Many also enjoyed custom manicures by Her Nails Rock. The ladies finished their day with a tour of Bad Boy Headquarters, including a tour of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ personal office. With award wining programming from the Suber Sallis Foundation, the day was a complete success. Sponsored byFairway Market, Spoonbread Catering, O.N.E. Coconut Water and Dark & Lovely, the Watch Her Work Workshop left workshop goers empowered and ready to change the world.
