Kelly Rowland is the new face of “Strong Is Beautiful,” a campaign supporting the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
Joining Aretha Franklin, Randy Jackson, Stanley Tucci, Ciara, Timabland and Serena Williams, Rowland celebrates tennis in an initiative to raise awareness.
“Strong is equal parts, fearlessness and faith. Knowing that you alone have the power to define your destiny. Strong is beautiful. Strong is women’s tennis,” Rowland says in video below.
“Women’s tennis is fortunate to boast so many personalities with huge fan followings from the worlds of entertainment, music, sport and business who admire our players and our sport,” said Stacey Allaster, Chairman and CEO of the WTA. “With this new campaign, we aim to tap into these celebrities’ fan bases and powerful personal brands to help stretch the boundaries of the sport even further and attract a new generation of fans to women’s tennis.”
This campaign will extend through 2013 with both video and print.
