The original lineup consisted of five teenage girls: Breaunna Womack (Babydoll), Zonnique Pullins (Star), Bahja Rodriguez (Beauty), and twins Miss Star and Miss Lyric. They were formed in 2009 by their manager, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle. Their sound was a blend of hip hop, pop, dance music and urban contemporary sounds.

Since forming the group has released several singles, albums and mixtapes. In 2011 they won the BET Music Matters Award for Best Group or Band at the BET Awards ceremony. Their debut single “Gucci This (Gucci That)” charted on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in 2012 and peaked at number ninety-three. Since then they have been featured on tracks with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Jeezy, Nicki Minaj, Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em and many others.

Their most recent release is their second full album titled Where The Boys At? It features ten upbeat tracks that celebrate female empowerment while staying true to their signature sound of melodic rap verses mixed with soulful vocals. From club bangers like ‘Kickin’ it With My Girls’ to uplifting anthems like ‘We Got Em’, this album gives listeners a taste of what these young talented ladies can do musically when left to express themselves freely without any boundaries.

The OMG Girlz have come a long way since their humble beginnings in 2009.
