No matter the time period, the coined phrase “Who’s Bad” will forever ring reminiscent of the late King of Pop. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad’ album and much-talked about tour, Epic/Legacy Recordings have teamed up with the Estate of Michael Jackson to release a ‘BAD 25’ Deluxe Collectors item.

The limited edition collection package will be packaged with a unique ‘Bad’-themed case, and contain memorabilia for fans of all ages. Included are the Deluxe 25th Anniversary Edition box set, containing 3 CDs and 1 DVD; an exclusive T-shirt not available for purchase; and a “BAD Tour” souvenir package, including a concert ticket replica, the 1988 BAD Tour program, an all-access backstage pass and lanyard, amongst other things.

Fans will also get a re-mastered version of the album, as well as a bonus CD containing unreleased material from the album recording sessions, as well as new remixes. Along with the CDs will be two extensive booklets, featuring never-before seen photos from the recording sessions, video sets, and the tour, as well as the ‘Bad’ cover art and a two-sided poster.

This exclusive package will only be available for purchase through Michael Jackson’s webstore, starting on September 18th, 2012.

Revered as one of the most influential pop albums in history and selling over 45 million copies worldwide, its influence can still be felt today. To celebrate this milestone anniversary, a special collectors release of ‘Bad’ will soon be available for fans around the world.

The original 1987 version of ‘Bad’ was mostly well-received by critics and audiences alike. Featuring hits like “Smooth Criminal” and classics such as “Man In The Mirror”, it continues to receive critical acclaim from listeners old and new. But what made ‘Bad’ so successful? How did it go on to become an internationally acclaimed classic?

To find out more about the legacy of ‘Bad’, we need to take a closer look at how this album changed music forever – and why it is still revered after all these years. Join us as we explore why Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad’ remains an important part of musical history with this exclusive collector’s edition celebrating its 25th anniversary!

Overview Of The Album

The 1987 album Bad by Michael Jackson is a classic that has stood the test of time. From its upbeat pop anthems to its slow-burning ballads, it’s clear why this album continues to be beloved 25 years later. To celebrate this milestone anniversary, a special collectors release of the album was released on August 28th 2012.

Bad contains some of Jackson’s most recognizable hits such as ‘Smooth Criminal’, ‘Man in the Mirror’ and ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’. It sold over 8 million copies worldwide when it was first released and currently sits at 30x platinum status in the US alone. The record spawned seven hit singles, making it one of the most successful albums ever recorded.

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, fans can now purchase this collector’s edition which features previously unreleased tracks like ‘Streetwalker’ and ‘Fly Away’ plus five music videos from the original 1987 release. This collector’s edition also includes newly remixed versions of several songs, giving old classics a fresh twist for new generations of listeners. With so many great memories attached to this timeless piece of art, there truly is no better way to relive them than with this special release!

25th Anniversary Commemoration

To commemorate this momentous 25th anniversary, Michael Jackson fans around the world have gathered to celebrate Bad in a special way. From listening parties and discussions on social media platforms, to exclusive events organized by record labels and retailers – there’s something for everyone!

The celebration has also included various tributes from other artists. Many current popular acts have recorded covers of some of Jackson’s biggest hits from the album including ‘Bad’, ‘Smooth Criminal’, and ‘Man In The Mirror’. These reimagined versions serve as an ode to one of music’s most iconic albums while paying homage to its creator.

For those who were lucky enough to experience what made Bad so great all those years ago, it still remains one of the greatest records ever created – even after two-and-a-half decades and many imitators trying their best to recreate its success. It’s no wonder that millions continue to listen to this classic today; it truly is timeless!

Conclusion

It’s hard to believe that it has already been 25 years since Michael Jackson released his iconic album Bad. Released in 1987, the album was a huge success and is still remembered fondly by fans today. To commemorate its 25th anniversary, Sony Music Entertainment recently announced they were releasing a special collectors edition of the album.

This release not only includes remastered versions of all the original songs from the record, but also previously unreleased bonus tracks as well.
