Usher fans were sent into a frenzy on Tuesday (April 10th) as a rumor went out noting that the R&B crooner had died in a car accident.
A hoax article from Global Associated News went viral, alleging that Usher was involved in a fatal accident on a highway in New Mexico. The report claimed, “Usher died in a single vehicle crash on Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the vehicle accident and was identified by photo ID found on his body.”
However, Mr. Raymond quickly made his way onto Twitter to alert fans of the fake rumor, and proved it with some shirtless pictures after a workout.
Along with the flexing pictures to show off his chiseled bod, he tweeted, “I must’ve died and went to heaven…Alive and cold kickin ass!!” He also added: “Never scared, never dead…Just #Lookin 4 myself. Livin’ Legend!”
Usher’s single “Climax” has currently hit #1 in the United States, and serves as the lead single off of his upcoming album, ‘Looking For Myself’ due out in June.
