Adele is close to earning a Billboard Hot 100 record thanks to “Rolling In The Deep.”
According to Billboard, “Rolling In The Deep” has now had the third longest run on the Hot 100 in the chart’s 53-year history.
Now at 65 weeks, “Rolling In The Deep” came in at no.49 Thursday and trails only Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours” (76 weeks).
In related news, Usher’s single “Climax” is closing in on Beyonce’s no.1 single “Love On Top” on the R&B/Hip Hop Songs tally.
Earning top airplay gainer status Thursday, the single rockets 6-3 surpassing Chris Brown and Rihanna’s collaboration “Birthday Cake (Remix)” which sits at no.4.
“Climax” leads Usher’s forthcoming album “Looking For Myself.”
