R&B singer/songwriter Tank has re-titled his forthcoming Atlantic Records album. Previously titled “Savior,” the “Next Breath” led effort has been named “This Is How I Feel.”
Tank made the announcement via his official website Tuesday, also revealing the album cover artwork and the launch of an online series.
Titled “Tank Tuesdays,” the series will run up to the day “This Is How I Feel” is released. Each Tuesday, Tank will reveal a new piece of content taking fans behind the effort.
“The whole album is catered to the women, period,” Tank recently told Singersroom. “From ‘Compliments’ to ‘Next Breath’ to ‘When I Lost You’…that’s what the whole entire album is. To get the woman back to the place where she feels like she is the most important thing in the world to us.”
He adds about his singles: “I wasn’t trying to find a trendy record to just get hot in the club and be hot on mainstream radio, I actually wanted to do an R&B record that said something, from lyrics to beats to melodies; everything.”
“This Is How I Feel” is due in stores May 8 via Atlantic Records.
