Jay-z’s Roc Nation organization recently raised over $150,000 for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles that will benefit the Mark Taper-Johnny Mercer Artists Program and Children’s Orthopaedic Center. The funds were raised through a post-Grammy concert at the House of Blues on Sunset that featured performances from Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Sebastain Ingrosso. Each performing artist donated their time on stage, entertaining the sold-out crowd.
“We are deeply honored to have the support of such powerful industry organizations and talent,” said David Skaggs, MD, Director of the Children’s Orthopaedic Center at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. “The funds raised by this phenomenal event will have a direct impact on the lives of children’s for years to come.”
