Legendary musician Bobby Womack has been diagnosed with colon cancer. The Rock and Roll Hall of fame inductee, who is responsible for timeless hits like “Lookin’ For a Love,” “That’s The Way I Feel About Cha,” and “If You Think You’re Lonely Now” was released from the hospital yesterday (Mar 29) after recovering from pneumonia.
Earlier in 2012 Womack announced the release of his twenty-seventh studio album entitled ‘Bravest Man in the Universe.’ The first single released from the project is “Please Forgive My Hear,” distributed via XL recordings.
His publicist released a statement that the 68-year-old thanked his fans for their prayers, love and well wishes. Womack is looking forward to support his album with an accompanying tour.
