Bobby Brown has issued an official statement regarding the loss of his ex-wife Whitney Houston. Requesting privacy during this difficult time, Brown is “deeply saddened”.
“I am deeply saddened at the passing of my ex-wife, Whitney Houston. At this time, we ask for privacy, especially for my daughter, Bobbi- Kristina. I appreciate all of the condolences that have been directed towards my family and I at this most difficult time,” said Brown.
Married for fourteen years, Brown and Houston’s marriage was a turbulent one documented in tabloids and other forms of media. There was no question however that there was a bond between the two, inseparable by public and media scrutiny.
The couple had one child, Bobbi Kristina, before divorcing in 2007.
