X Factor winner Melanie Amaro is not only sharing her prized Super Bowl commercial with Sir Elton John this Sunday, she will also be singing “R.E.S.P.E.C.T.”

According to Pepsi, releasing a teaser for the commercial, Amaro has recorded a “contemporized version of RESPECT” to go with what is being described as a “rock-fantasy version of medieval times” themed ad.

“The 60 second commercial features Melanie Amaro performing in front of a “royal court of rock,” including Elton John’s character, the King. The ad establishes Pepsi as the brand for people who are not afraid to take a chance, raise their voice and give it their all,” reports Pepsi. “With epic Pepsi scale and a big dose of humor, the commercial ends with a twist and the tagline, “Where there’s Pepsi, There’s Music.”

The coveted Pepsi ad, following those of Mariah Carey, Ray Charles and Michael Jackson, is part of Amaro’s X Factor prize package (that and the $5 million recording contract she received with EPIC).

“Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be starring in a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial, following in the footsteps of some of music’s biggest legends,” said Amaro. “Winning THE X FACTOR has changed my life.”

Watch for the ad when Super Bowl XLVI airs Sunday.

This year, the Super Bowl will be made extra special with a performance from Melanie Amaro. The award-winning singer and songwriter has just released her take on an Aretha Franklin classic – ‘Respect’ by Otis Redding. It’s sure to be a showstopper of a performance!

Amaro is no stranger to the stage or studio. She rose to fame after winning the first season of X Factor USA in 2011 and hasn’t looked back since then. Her career has been full of exciting opportunities, including collaborations with some of music’s biggest names. But this time, she’ll be taking center stage all by herself as she belts out one of soul music’s most iconic songs.

The rendition of ‘Respect’ was produced specifically for the upcoming Super Bowl event, so fans should get ready for something truly special when they tune in to watch it live! With such an incredible combination of talent behind this project, we can expect nothing less than amazing things from Amaro and her team.

Singer’s Background

Melanie Amaro is an American singer, songwriter and actor. She gained fame as the winner of the first season of The X Factor USA in 2011. Since then, she has released multiple singles and albums to critical acclaim. Her most recent release was a cover of Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” for Super Bowl 2021.

This recording marks not only her own personal tribute to one of the greatest singers in history, but also pays homage to Otis Redding’s classic version from 1965. Despite being half a century apart, both renditions are unmistakably powerful and moving performances that honor the iconic soulful track. It’s no surprise that Amaro chose this number to represent herself – after all, she commands respect with her powerhouse vocals and undeniable stage presence.

Coupled with the heart-pumping energy of the NFL’s biggest game, it’s sure to be an unforgettable moment when fans listen to Melanie Amaro take on such a beloved classic. As they watch her show off her vocal range while belting out ‘R-E-S-P-E-C-T’, viewers will undoubtedly recognize why she won America over during her time on The X Factor and continues to do so today as one of music’s rising stars.

Performance Details

As Melanie Amaro takes the stage, anticipation builds around her performance of this classic song. She begins by introducing it as an homage to Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding, a testament to their iconic versions that have inspired generations of singers. With one deep breath, she launches into the track with strength and confidence – you can feel the crowd’s energy start to rise as they recognize what’s coming next.

Amaro showcases her incredible range on ‘Respect’, effortlessly transitioning from low notes in the verses to powerful high notes on the chorus. Her voice carries all through the stadium, reminding everyone why she won The X Factor just a few years ago. It’s clear that not only has her talent grown since then, but so too has her star power: when she holds out those belting final notes for longer than expected, every person watching knows they are witnessing something special.

This performance is sure to be remembered for years to come; with each listen we’ll be taken back to Super Bowl 2021 and reminded of how Melanie Amaro honored two musical legends while making them proud at the same time. And no matter who wins or loses on game day, there will always be one winner: respect itself – thanks in part to Melanie Amaro’s remarkable rendition of a timeless classic.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Melanie Amaro has created an incredible performance with her rendition of Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding’s classic “Respect.” Her powerful voice was the perfect fit for such a beloved song. She showed great emotion in her delivery and gave viewers around the world something to remember.

This amazing performance by Melanie proves that she is not only talented but also passionate about music. Through this act she can inspire others who want to pursue a career in singing as well. With perseverance, hard work and dedication it’s possible to follow your dreams like Melanie did.

Melanie Amaro definitely made history when she sang at the Super Bowl earlier this year. Not many people get the opportunity to perform on such a big stage and she nailed it! It’ll be exciting to see what else Melanie has in store for us in the future and I’m sure we won’t be disappointed.
