While the rest of the world seems to have moved on, Madonna is not letting Janet Jackson’s infamous “wardrobe malfunction” go.
In a recent interview, promoting her forthcoming half-time performance at this year’s SuperBowl, Madge slipped in a dig at Jackson.
“I have not mainstreamed and I’m not planning anything naughty. I’m planning something super entertaining,” Madonna said of her upcoming performance. “You don’t have to show nipples to be interesting. It doesn’t necessarily mean you’re cutting edge if you do, right?”
This comment follows weeks of digs she has taken at Lady Gaga and as of late Elton John at the Golden Globes. In the latter case, John started it, claiming she had no f***in chance in winning an award. To her credit, she did win that Best Original Song award.
In related news, Cee-Lo Green and Nicki Minaj are rumored to be joining Madonna during her anticipated half-time performance.
