Another day…another celebrity dating rumor. For former 3LW singer Adrienne Bailon, well, it’s a rumor that won’t seem to become extinct.
For some time now, there have been continuous reports that Bailon has been cuddling behind the scenes with rapper Fabolous and when a photo of the two leaked earlier this week, the upcoming reality TV show star was forced to go back on the defense.
“We’re friends,” Bailon told New York’s Power 105.1, denying any possible intimacy. “The same way that if you have a best friend, and you guys are both attending an event….if we’re all a crew that hangs out together, you’ll say, ‘Yo, everybody’s going at this time.'”
Bailon insist that her friendship with Fab also extends to the mother of his child, Emily B of Love & Hip Hop, who she says is like a sister.
“I literally was with Em the day after because one of our best friends, Ashley, it was her birthday. And we all went to a girls dinner,” she says following the photo leak. “The night before I was with Fab and the day after I was with Em. We’re ALL friends. We go on vacations together!”
She continues: “My best friend Ashley is Fab’s assistant. We’re literally a family, a crew, we all hang out together. And that’s totally normal guys. I actually don’t think I’ve ever hung out with Fab by myself. If ever someone can find me a picture of me and Fab aloneâanywhere in life, please come forward.”
In a world of camera phones, loose bloggers and celebrity PR chasers, it seems Adrienne will just have to learn to deal.
