As reports about Diddy launching a new cable network circulate, his peers believe the Bad Boy Records visionary is going to re-emerge to compete with top labels in 2012.
Division 1 label owner Rico Love, whom helped with the creation of Diddy’s last album ‘Last Train to Paris,’ has declared that Bad Boy will impact 2012’s musical landscape.
“I believe Bad Boy is going to make a huge comeback,” Rico told Singersroom. “Not really a comeback because Puff (Diddy) never went nowhere. But as far as a record company, I feel like it is going to be a huge resurgence. I have been having talks with Puff and he is making some really solid decisions behind the scenes and rebuilding. Nobody does it how he does it.”
Diddy’s current roster of artist includes Janelle Monae, Cassie, Dawb Richard, Machine Gun Kelly, French Montana and Red Cafe. In addition to his music venture, Diddy operates businesses in fashion, spirits, music, marketing, television and food.
