Her parents are of Dominican and Haitian descent, and her father was a professional musician who taught her to play piano at three years old. She went on to study music theory from age seven until she graduated high school with honors.
Pasian’s career began when she signed with Def Jam Records at age fifteen as one of their youngest artists ever.
