A man is looking to sue Jagged Edge after the platinum-selling R&B group allegedly failed to show up and perform at his wedding.
Victor Diaz claims he paid $10,000 to book the “Let’s Get Married” hitmakers to sing at his reception as a surprise for his fiancée but the group never showed and now he wants his 10k back.
In contrary to Diaz’s claims, Jagged Edge says they only heard about the wedding after he contacted them, insisting he must have been scammed by someone posing as a fraudulent rep.
Still Diaz is not accepting Jagged Edge’s stance, insisting the group flaked for a better gig. He tells TMZ, “They humiliated me and cost my wife her dream.”
A spokesperson for Jagged Edge slams the allegations, saying: “They are very heartbroken and sad that [Victor’s] wedding got destroyed due [to] someone using our name without permission.”
“As far as court goes … if the guy does decide to sue, good luck, because we didn’t agree to anything and he will see he had a forgery contract.”
