Jason Weaver, mostly known for his acting roles in “Smart Guy,” “Drumline” and “ATL,” moves from television and film to music as a member of Sons of Bobby Brown.

Reaching a turning point in his career, Weaver is opening new doors to highlight all of his abilities. Sons of Bobby Brown was birthed while working with songwriting partner Sky Keeton.

“We were in the studio this past summer writing for other artists…We would just say we’re on some Bobby Brown stuff, it had an edge to it, some soul, it was on some rock star stuff, and we said we’re the sons of Bobby Brown,” says Weaver.

The first song released is a black and white music video entitled “You Got Me.” With no blood relation to Bobby Brown, the duo plans on releasing a mixtape in the upcoming months.

Jason Weaver is a music and acting powerhouse who has been in the industry for over two decades. Most recently, he’s taken on an exciting new project that pays homage to his old mentor Bobby Brown: recreating The Sons of Bobby Brown. With this venture, Jason Weaver is sure to thrill fans with a fresh take on classic tunes from the 80s and 90s.

Weaver first rose to prominence in 1993 when he starred as young Simba in Disney’s ‘The Lion King’. Since then, he hasn’t looked back. He’s appeared in numerous films such as ‘Drumline’ and ‘Love & Basketball’, performed with artists like Stevie Wonder, and released three solo albums – including one under his stage name J-Weav. But it was his early start working alongside Bobby Brown that set him up for success.

Now, after almost 30 years since they first worked together, Weaver is honoring their past relationship by launching ‘Sons of Bobby Brown’ – a tribute act dedicated to performing some of Brown’s greatest hits from the era when they were at their peak. Read on to learn more about how Jason Weaver is reviving his career through this unique endeavor!

Overview Of Jason Weaver’s Career

Jason Weaver has been in the entertainment industry for over two decades, and his career has taken many interesting turns. In the early days of his career, he was a child actor on popular shows such as “Thea,” “Smart Guy,” and “Sister Sister.” After those roles, Jason went on to become a successful recording artist – most notably known for singing the theme song from Disney’s 1994 hit ‘The Lion King.’

In recent years, however, Weaver has shifted away from acting and music and begun working with fellow artists to create something new. Together they formed ‘Sons of Bobby Brown’ – an R&B/Hip Hop group that pays homage to their collective inspirations while also adding their own unique twist. The project seems to be resonating well with audiences and critics alike who are praising its refreshing sound.

It remains to be seen what else Jason can bring to the table with Sons of Bobby Brown, but one thing is certain: he’s showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. With his impressive background in both acting and music, it looks like fans will continue getting more great content from him for years to come.

Revival Of ‘Sons Of Bobby Brown’

Jason Weaver’s career has taken a new turn with the formation of ‘Sons of Bobby Brown’. This newly formed R&B/Hip Hop group is comprised of three members, all of whom have come together to create something fresh and exciting in the music industry. With their collective experience, they are bringing an interesting blend of sounds that draws on inspiration from classic soul and hip hop while also introducing some new elements into the mix.

The project seems to be resonating well with fans and critics alike. They appreciate the unique sound that Sons Of Bobby Brown brings to the table – blending old-school vibes with more modern beats and rhymes. The result is a refreshing take on classic genres that speaks directly to audiences who are looking for something different yet familiar. Even veteran artists such as Andre 3000 have praised Sons Of Bobby Brown for their creativity and passion for making good music.

As Jason Weaver continues his work with this group, it will be interesting to see what else he can bring to the table. He certainly has plenty of talent and experience from his time in both acting and music, so there’s no telling how far he’ll go with Sons Of Bobby Brown or what other projects may arise from it. It looks like we’re just getting started when it comes to Jason’s future endeavors!
