The Singersroom sponsored R&B Spotlight is back at the Legendary BB King’s Blues & Grill located in the heart of Times Square (NYC), Sunday, November 20, 2011.
As we continue to support Grassroots talents, R&B Spotlight pledges to celebrate the melodic sounds of your favorite national and local R&B talents. Additional, this month will feature a special guest performance from veteran R&B singer Lil Mo and a special tribute to 90’s rapper Heavy D, who passed away at a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday (November 8) at 44 years old.
“The music community is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Heavy D,” event producer Cory Taylor of 21Voices shares with Singersroom. “He was a musical icon and his timeless music will forever live on.”
Lil Mo will be promoting her brand new album ‘PS, I Love Me,’ released on November 1st. The new album features Tweet, Dawn Richard (Diddy Dirty Money), P.J. Morton and rapper Maino.
Over the years, Chart-topping superstars such as the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, soulful crooner Anthony Hamilton and 90’s trio SWV have headlined shows at BB King’s.

Doors open at 8 p.m. show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door on day of the event. Tickets can be purchased directly at BB Kings or at ticketmaster.com.
