Besides working on a new album, R&B singer Brandy has been hard at work rebuilding her film discography. It was recently confirmed that the former Moesha star will join Tyler Perry’s upcoming Lionsgate film, “The Marriage Counselor.”
Brandy, along with Robbie Jones, Ella Joyce and Jerry Stiller, will join already confirmed cast members Jurnee Smollett, who stars as the title character, Kim Kardashian and Vanessa Williams.
The “The Marriage Counselor” revolves around Smollett, who plays a newlywed marriage counselor that gives great relationship advice but finds it difficult to address issues in her own life. Gross will play her husband, while Jones will play a smooth-talking client with whom she has an affair with. Brandy will play Gross’ co-worker.
