Rotimi opens up to fans in an intimate and raw studio session unraveling the story behind the songs on ‘The Resume.’
Rotimi on Forever/Apologize…”When I wrote ‘Forever,’ I had recently broke up with my girlfriend at the time. It was tough because I was in the wrong and I felt by writing this song was sort of therapeutic. It’s still one of my favorites as well as many of my fans favorite song. The video for this song had rotation on VH1 Soul as well as radio stations picked it up. For Singersroom, I wanted to do something special and thought of reworking the song by including, “Apologize.” I think it came out pretty good… I hope you enjoy!”
Much love,
