Discipline and patience are qualities that burgeoning R&B singer Rotimi has practiced in order to pursue his career as a musician. A descendant of Nigerian parents, Rotimi had to complete is college education before launching a full fledged career as an entertainer.
In a short span of time, he delivered his ‘Resume’ to R&B enthusiasts, generating a buzz in Chicago, the internet and national recognition with a feature performance on 106 and Park. He is solidifying his position as an entertainer, not just has a singer but also with a role in Kelsey Grammar’s upcoming sitcom.
Rotimi sat down at the Aloft in Harlem, New York to discuss accepting his name, defining success and sharing the stage with the greats.
