One of the world’s most celebrated music festival is set to kick off on May 20-28th and Singersroom will be there to witness superstars like Kanye West, Shakira and Quincy Jones take stage. The 2011 Festival Mawazine: Rhythms of the World, placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, will celebrate their 10th anniversary this year.
This event boasts an impressive assortment of musical tastes from across the globe as performers from five continents are slated to hit the stage. The venue will be home to several concerts, exhibitions, performances, street shows and workshops throughout the festival.
Following the festival, several artists including internationally recognized DJ & Producer, Nadir Khayat, better known to fans as RedOne (Lady Gaga), will head to Marrakech on May 29th for a tribute concert in support of the April 28th terrorist attack, supporting the victims’ families and the city of Marrakech.
Currently, The Bharati Show, Mory Kante, Nass El Ghiwane and Hindi Zahra has been confirmed as performers for the tribute with many other artists from a diverse background of nationalities to be announced in the coming days.
