A rep for Beyonce Knowles has slammed rumors that the R&B diva will take stage at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding on April 29. The source tells ET, “the ceremony is not on her schedule and she has a shoot in New York on Saturday (April 30).”

News first broke about the rumored performance after the Daily Star published a story that stated William and Kate loved Beyonce and Jay-Z. According to the source, “Both William and Kate are massive fans of Beyonce and Jay-Z. They really wanted to make their big day even more special and what better way than by getting pop royalty to perform at the party?”

The source also added: “They both wanted to ditch traditions and make it more personal for them,” and “it’s highly likely they [Bey and Jay-Z] have taken up the Royals’ offer.”

No word if Jay-Z will perform since his rep has not come forward to curtail the rumors.

In related news, Beyonce is currently promoting her new single “Run the World (Girls),” which has received mixed reviews thus far. The track is currently No. 22 on the iTunes Top Songs chart.

Rumors have been swirling for weeks about who will perform at the upcoming royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. But one name has finally been crossed off the list: Beyonce! Despite speculation, it looks like Queen Bey won’t be taking the stage on May 19th – and fans around the world are devastated. Read on to find out why exactly this superstar isn’t showing up to celebrate their big day.

For months, we’ve all been wondering which celebrity would make an appearance at Harry and Meghan’s nuptials. There were plenty of names being thrown around – Adele, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay… but no one was sure if any of them were actually going to show up. And now that we know Beyonce won’t be there? Well, people can barely contain their disappointment! After all, she is a huge star with millions of devoted followers – so naturally everyone assumed she’d make a grand entrance at such an important event.

But alas, it looks like even her fame couldn’t get her into St George Chapel alongside royalty. So what happened? Why isn’t Queen Bey performing at the royal wedding after all? That’s exactly what we’ll explore in this article – stay tuned to find out more!

Details Of The Event

The royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is set to take place on May 19, 2018. It will be a star-studded event sure to draw the attention of millions around the world. Despite speculation that Beyonce would make an appearance at the ceremony, recent reports have confirmed that she won’t be performing at the celebration.

The wedding reception will be held in St George’s Hall at Windsor Castle, with over 600 guests invited to attend including celebrities from both sides of the Atlantic. Among them are tennis champion Serena Williams, actress Priyanka Chopra and singer James Blunt.

Though rumors were flying about Beyonce attending or even singing for the couple’s first dance as husband and wife, it has been officially stated by Kensington Palace that “there is no truth” to these claims. A spokesman also revealed that they “do not comment on private matters.” So while we may never know why Queen Bey decided against showing up to this momentous occasion, we can still expect plenty of other stars making their mark on this special day.

Reasons For Beyonce’s Absence

Though it may be surprising that Beyonce won’t make an appearance at the royal wedding, there could be a number of reasons why. One possibility is scheduling conflicts due to her upcoming tour and other professional engagements. Another reason might simply be the couple’s preference for a more low-key affair with fewer celebrities invited. Additionally, as royalty themselves, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle likely want to keep things intimate and private rather than grandiose.

The palace has made it clear that they are not commenting on this matter any further – leaving speculation about why Beyonce didn’t perform up in the air. Nevertheless, even without Queen Bey gracing us with her presence, we can still expect plenty of well-known names attending what is sure to be one of the most talked-about weddings in recent years.

No matter which stars do decide to show up, however, we know that Prince Harry and Meghan will have a beautiful ceremony filled with love and joy on their special day.

Conclusion

It’s been confirmed that Beyonce will not be performing at the upcoming royal wedding. This news has come as a disappointment to many of her fans, who were hoping to see the singer grace one of the most anticipated events of the year with her presence and talent.

Despite this big letdown for some people, there are several reasons why it makes sense for Beyonce to opt out of attending. Her schedule is already jam-packed with commitments, so it wouldn’t make much sense for her to add another date on top of everything else she already has going on. Additionally, there could be concerns about security or other logistical issues surrounding an event like this which may have influenced her decision not to attend.

In any case, while we won’t get the chance to see Beyonce show up in person, I’m sure we can all find solace in continuing to enjoy her music and artistry. No matter what happens at the royal wedding next month, Bey will always remain royalty in our hearts!
