StarRoc/Roc Nation R&B Songstress Alexis Jordan is adding acting to her resume. The âGood Girlâ singer will be showing off her acting chops in a short film directed by Chicago-area students who were selected to participate in Spriteâs Refreshing Films program.
The program is designed to engage youth with challenging opportunities to leverage their talents, spark fresh thinking and realize their potential for greatness behind the camera and beyond. Alexis plays a character named Swift Justice in the short film.
The film will premiere on spriterefreshingfilms.com and you can cast your vote for your favorite film from April 1-May 2.
Jordan, who is gearing up for the release of her debut LP, recently released an “empowering” track from the set, which she says is “a song with a simple message: forget about all your troubles and go party!”
“Instead of getting down or fighting back against someone who is giving you grief, just smile it off and look the other way,â she told Digital Spy.
