Lloyd’s forthcoming album ‘King of Hearts,’ was pushed back a month from March 22nd to April 19th but the R&B crooner says it was a move to give fans more enjoyment before release date.

“They will be able to enjoy a second video. They will also be able to enjoy some exclusive releases that I am going to make between now and the album release time,” Lloyd tells Singersroom. “It’s funny how time flies, and we just want to make sure that people really have a chance to understand why this album is so great in the first place. It really is my best work to date. Anytime that you are working with a mindset or in the early stages of releasing what you consider a masterpiece, you want to make sure everything is right and all the stars are aligned. I think time is very valuable. Being able to have time to do things the right way is really a luxury – its just good that we can afford that luxury.”

‘King of Hearts’ is lead by the singles “Lay It Down” and the 50 Cent-featured “Let’s Get It In.” On a real life level, Lloyd says “Let’s Get It In,” which spawns the lyrics, “I wish I had time to get to know you but I don’t. I wish I could be here in the morning but I won’t. So let’s get it in girl,” is about giving women what they want.

“Sometimes that’s what people want. Sometimes they don’t want all the holding hands, the lovey dovey and the romantic stuff,” he tells Singersroom. “Sometimes they want honesty, truth, and transparency. In today’s society I would rather have someone who was transparent so I know who I’m dealing with than someone who lies about what they want and I find out the hard way. So I think there is something to be admired about just being honest with yourself and with your partner.”

King of Hearts is scheduled for released April 19th.

Lloyd is finally ready to open up and talk about why he pushed his album back, plus why there won’t be any ‘lovey dovey’ women featured. After months of speculation, the R&B singer has granted us an exclusive interview that reveals a great deal about his creative process and what fans can expect when the album drops.

In this fascinating conversation with Lloyd, we not only get insight into why he decided to delay the release date for his latest project but also learn more about how he chooses which women will appear in his music videos. He explains why it’s important for him to stay true to himself and make sure that all of the visuals surrounding his work reflect who he is as an artist.

So if you’ve been eagerly awaiting news on Lloyd’s upcoming album, then this article is definitely worth reading! We’ll give you a sneak peek at some of the most interesting questions asked and answers given during our exclusive interview with the star. Keep reading to find out everything you need to know about “Lovey Dovey” women and Lloyd’s decision to push back the release date of his much-anticipated new record!

Reasons For Postponing The Album

It’s been a long time coming, but Lloyd has finally revealed why he pushed his album back. The R&B singer says that there were several factors at play when it came to making the decision to delay its release.

For one thing, he wanted to take more time in the studio and put extra effort into every track on the project. He said that he was determined not to rush anything, even if it meant delaying the release date. “I didn’t want this album to just be another typical record,” he explained. “I wanted something special.”

Lloyd also noted that he made sure all of his songs had a positive message for listeners, instead of them being about lovey dovey relationships with women like many other contemporary tunes are. Ultimately, this is an album that fans can enjoy listening to over and over again without getting tired of it.

Reflections On ‘Lovey Dovey’ Women

In addition to taking more time on the album, Lloyd also wanted to make sure he wasn’t singing about “lovey dovey” women. He was tired of hearing these types of songs coming from many other contemporary artists and decided that it was time for him to break away from this trend. As a result, his music has become much more meaningful and relevant to young people today.

For example, some of his tracks focus on personal growth and self-care rather than being centered around relationships with others. His song ‘Slowly’ is one such track – in it, he encourages listeners to take their time when pursuing their dreams; something which resonates deeply with those who have been told they need to move faster or achieve success quickly.

Overall, Lloyd’s decision not to rush the making of his album proved beneficial as fans can now appreciate its quality and the message behind each song. It’s clear that the singer put an immense amount of thought into creating something special – something which speaks directly to them without relying solely on love stories between two people.

Conclusion

I’m glad that Lloyd was honest and open about why he pushed his album back. It’s important to remember that artists need to take their time in order to make sure they have made the best possible product for their fans. I think it is great that he has such a strong opinion on ‘lovey dovey’ women, and doesn’t feel the need to conform to industry standards or give into pressure in order to create music. His ability to stand up for himself and stay true to his vision is something we should all admire and strive towards ourselves.

Lloyd’s words are an inspiration not only for aspiring musicians but also those of us who just want more authenticity in our lives. We can learn from him how important it is to be genuine with our feelings and opinions, no matter what other people might say. He reminds us that standing up for yourself matters, even if it means pushing your dreams aside temporarily until you find clarity within yourself about what path you should follow.

Ultimately, Lloyd’s story shows us that there will always be obstacles along the way when pursuing any goal – big or small – but ultimately having the courage and conviction to stay true to yourself will get you through them all. That’s a lesson we can all benefit from learning!
