R&B crooner Ginuwine has separated himself from a graphic video which features his song “Batteries.” In the clip, porn star Roxy Reynolds is in full effect, grinding around and doing booty dances. Old footage from Ginuwineâs past videos appears briefly in some scenes, which gives off the effect that he made the video.
“My apology to everyone that is not a video that I approved as you see I was incorporated in it pretty much an attempt to sabotage,” Ginuwine writes on Twitter shortly after the video hit the web.
“Thank you to all who have followed me I appreciate the love I am most likely to take this twitter down if it continues. Once again this video is not a video I approved I have a wife and daughters and would never approve something as explicit at this thank you.”
“Batteries” is one of the new songs off Ginuwine’s forthcoming seventh studio album “Elgin,” which will be available February 15.

In a recent interview, Grammy-nominated R&B singer Ginuwine revealed that he believes the release of his new video for the song “Batteries” is a sabotage attempt. The artist has long been known as one of the most successful and influential musicians in modern R&B music, so it comes as no surprise that this news left fans stunned. But what could have caused such a shocking twist? Read on to find out more about why Ginuwine thinks there’s something suspicious going on with the “Batteries” video.
Ginuwine first rose to fame back in 1996 with his debut album “The Bachelor” which reached Gold status. He quickly became an R&B icon, releasing hit after hit over the past two decades including “Pony”, “So Anxious” and “Same Ol G”. Now, at 46 years old, Ginuwine is still making waves with his newest single “Batteries”, but not in the way he’d hoped.
Recently, during an exclusive interview with Vibe Magazine, Ginuwine opened up about how he feels someone may be trying to sabotage him by leaking clips from the unreleased “Batteries” video prematurely. Despite being unsure who was behind this alleged scheme or why it happened, Ginuwine mentioned feeling disappointed and hurt by these actions. Background Information
When it comes to music, Ginuwine has been a mainstay in the industry for decades. He’s released numerous hit songs and albums that span multiple genres. Recently, however, he made headlines when he accused his former record label of sabotaging his latest video “Batteries”. The artist claims that the final product was not what he initially agreed upon with the production company, leading him to believe they deliberately messed up the video in order to take away from its success.
The claim sparked debate among fans and critics alike about whether this could be true or not. Some argued that if the video had indeed been tampered with then the responsibility should lie solely on the shoulders of the production company. Others stated that perhaps there were some miscommunications between both parties which led to misunderstandings and ultimately resulted in an unsatisfactory outcome. Regardless of who is at fault here, many have praised Ginuwine for speaking out against what he perceives as injustice.
Though we may never know exactly what happened behind-the-scenes, one thing is certain: This isn’t going away anytime soon. Whether you agree with Ginuwine or not, it’s clear that this is something everyone involved needs to address in order for all sides to come together and move forward without further issues arising down the line.
Analysis Of Allegations
It’s hard to say whether Ginuwine is right or wrong in this situation, as the truth of what happened may never be known. However, the allegations he has made are certainly worth analyzing and considering. For one thing, it would seem that there was a breakdown in communication somewhere along the way between him and his record label, resulting in an outcome neither party was happy with. It could also mean that someone at the production company deliberately sabotaged his video for reasons still unknown.
The implications here are serious; if true, then it raises questions about trust within the music industry when artists don’t receive fair treatment from their labels. On the other hand, if false, then these accusations could lead to further misunderstandings and mistrust going forward. Either way, both sides need to take responsibility for any miscommunications or disagreements which have arisen throughout this ordeal.
At its core, this issue boils down to respect: Respect for those involved and respect for each other’s creative visions so that everyone can work together towards creating something great without compromising anyone’s vision along the way. Until all parties come to an understanding on this matter, we won’t know exactly how things will turn out – but hopefully whatever happens next will bring resolution to this debate once and for all.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it appears that Ginuwine may have a legitimate reason to be concerned about the sabotaging of his new video. He claims that he didn’t give permission for the batteries in the video, but whoever was responsible obviously had access to the footage which is concerning. It’s possible someone was using this as an attempt to undermine him and hurt his career.
It’s unfortunate that something like this could happen because it reflects negatively on both Ginuwine and whomever put those batteries there without permission. His fans want to see him succeed, so hopefully he can get some answers soon and find out who exactly was behind this attempted sabotage.
At any rate, we wish Ginuwine luck in getting to the bottom of this situation quickly and resolving it amicably with all parties involved. We hope that whatever happened won’t affect his success too much moving forward, and look forward to seeing more great music from him!
