R&B singer/Actress Christina Milian is back in the studio revamping her forthcoming album, which will hit stores in 2011. âNext year Iâll finally be putting out a new album,â Christina said backstage at the American Music Awards. âI think I always say that, but this time I mean it. I just had to find some time to revamp and regroup everything for what this new albumâs gonna be. Itâs gonna be fun, itâs gonna be sexy, itâs gonna be everything that embodies what has happened in my life, but of course in the most fun manner.â Milianâs road to a new album has been rocky. She first signed with MySpace Music and Interscope, then linked with singer/songwriter The-Dream during, who was tapped to produce the project. Their working relationship became personal and the two ended up getting married, having a baby then separating. For the new project, the 29-year-old singer said it will be âfun and sexyâ but she may address her failed marriage. âThere are a lot of secrets that are gonna be on there. Iâm sure Iâll get to expose lots of sexy details,â she teased. âItâs gonna be fun, a lot of really good energy, a lot of great club songs. A lot of real intimate songs that are just true to my heart and what goes on in my life.â The new project, previously titled ‘Elope,’ will be the follow-up to Milian’s 2006âs So Amazin.
