According to Reuters, singer Amy Winehouse was taken to a London hospital after suffering minor injuries from a fall at her home over the weekend. “It was just a domestic accident and not serious. She bruised her ribs and had a cut above an eye,” said her spokesman. Winehouse is said to be in the studio recording several tracks for a Quincy Jones tribute. Incarcerated rapper DMX is suing a company he hired to collect his music royalties after finding out that they have been ripping him off. X. who has been behind bars much of the last few years, says Rich Kid Entertainment 1 and related companies paid him nothing while collecting royalties on some of his most popular work. The late King of Pop Michael Jacksonâs estate has won a preliminary injunction against a group using the name of the superstar’s former charitable group. Last year Jacksonâs estate sued the foundation, claiming copyright infringement. On Monday (4/26) a U.S. District judge answered the call, preventing the current Heal the World Foundation from using Jackson’s likeness and any trademarks that belong to his estate. Jackson created a charity based on his hit song “Heal the World” in 1992. It was later dissolved.
