Kiely Williams is ready to shed her past, a career that includes channeling her inner teenager for the Cheetah Girls and singing “No More” over a boy who just won’t do right in R&B girl group 3LW. According to Williams, it’s time that we respect her as an adult. “I donât like to think of it as an image. I like to think of it as presenting myself to the world as who I am,â Williams recently told S2S Magazine. âI really respected what Disney wanted to do and the market that we were selling to, but Iâm 24 years old and itâs time for me to be me.â With a role in the forthcoming sequel to ‘Stomp The Yard,’ Williams is also eying a stint on television as a talk show host. While details surrounding the latter project are under wraps, she says the she show is “Just kind of a social-awareness thing for people my age. A no b.s. kind of approach to whatâs going on in the real world.”
