Joining an ever growing list of participating recording artists, politicians and entertainment figures, iconic pop diva Madonna is set to take part in Friday’s ‘Hope For Haiti Now’ telethon. Booked to appear in New York City, Madonna is among three recently announced acts set to take part in the relief project spearheaded by George Clooney. Beyonce and Haitian Artist Emeline Michel will also take part in the telethon. As previously reported, ‘Hope For Haiti Now’ will air tonight, Friday, January 22 at 8pm on networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, BET, and MTV. Musical performances from the telethon will be made available via iTunes. In related news, there is no need to wait until tonight’s broadcast to give back. Volunteers for ‘Hope For Haiti Now’ will begin answering calls and taking donations at 12:00pm ET/9:00am PT today.
