Hit making producer/songwriter Bryan Michael Cox is set to return to old stomping grounds when he DJ’s Jazz In The Gardens this March. Hosted by Tom Joyner, Jazz In The Gardens will take place in Miami Gardens, just outside Miami, Florida March 20 – 21. Reuniting with Mary J. Blige, who headlines the two day musical event, Cox tells Singersroom he looks forward to catching up with Blige and some of the other artists he’s worked with but, also those who he’d like to work with in the future. “I DJ’d at Jazz in the Gardens last year and I was pleasantly surprised that there were over 35,000 people peacefully partying,” says Cox. “I’m even more excited about returning this year because the lineup has artists that I’ve worked with and that I aspire to work with. As a lover of all things music playing at a festival that has a fusion of Jazz, Classic R&B and Contemporary R&B just feels good and this is particularly special because I was born in what is now Miami Gardens.” A Sights & Soul featured event, “Jazz In The Gardens” will include performances from Robin Thicke, Teena Marie, Melanie Fiona and more. Tickets are currently on sale for the two day event, taking place at Dolphin Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
