Trey Songz continues to dominate the R&B/Hip Hop songs chart, scoring his second consecutive week at no.1 this week ! “I Invented Sex,” Songz’s latest single from the Grammy nominated album “Ready” is his first single to top the chart, eclipsing his 2007 hit “Can’t Help But Wait”. “I Invented Sex” is not Songz’s only single to reach the top 10 this week. His Fabolous featured single “Say Aah” is up two spots (6-4) , coming in at no.4 just above Usher’s chart-topping single “Papers” (No.5). In related news, Melanie Fiona’s Grammy-nominated single “It Kills Me” continued its rise toward the top this week. Coming in at no.2, Fiona’s hit single was also named this week’s greatest airplay gainer, topping Birdman feat. Lil Wayne & Drake on “Money To Blow”. “Hood Love,” a song featured on Mary J. Blige’s just released album “Stronger With Each Tear” made its debut this week. Also featuring Trey Songz, “Hood Love” is this week’s top debut on the R&B/Hip Hop songs tally, coming in at no.83.
