Usher might have lost his reign over the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart to Trey Songz last week, but the Diamond-selling singer has earned another title. According to Billboard, the “Papers” singer is officially the Top Hot 100 artist of the decade ! With a stellar 13 consecutive top 20 singles, including seven which went to number one, Usher earns the title in company of Beyonce and Mariah Carey, who also fared well on the Hot 100 over the last ten years. According to Billboard, Usher’s seven number one singles collectively spent 41 weeks at the top of the chart — the most weeks at number one for any act in the decade. Among Usher’s top Hot 100 singles are the 2004 hits “Yeah,” “Burn,” “Confessions” and “My Boo”.
