Of all opportunities presented, Hudson says going home for the Holidays is essential and personal when it comes down to her own family, including her son, David. “That’s why I chose to go back home and share it and make it personal,” Hudson told PEOPLE. “I just want to make it (Christmas) as exciting and fun for him as it was for me. And I want him to have this feeling each time this time of year comes around.
