Former Danity Kane darling, D. Woods is close to releasing her long anticipated solo debut thanks to a recently inked distribution deal. “Over the past year, Iâve existed in one of the most awkward situations yet in my life; my own little âGray Area,â Woods said in statement shortly after signing a deal with Bonzi Records/Fontana (UMG). “I look forward to what the future has in store for me.” According to Woods, plans are in motion to release the solo debut “My Favorite Color” in 2010. Before she gets there however, Woods has new music in store for fans. Giving back via an EP disc titled “The Gray Area Experience,” Woods will debut new and exclusive material including the single “Legalize Me” and its accompanying music video. Due December 8, “Legalize Me” is the first piece of new material from Woods to be exclusively released post Danity Kane. As previously reported on Singersroom, Woods, along with fellow Danity Kane members, called it quits in April of 2009 after releasing two albums at Bad Boy Records. “My Favorite Color” has a tentative release date of April 27, 2010.
