The H1NL virus, otherwise noted as swine flu, has afflicted Boyz II Men member Shawn Stockman. Due to perform at Tuesday’s taping of the Centric/BET Soul Train Awards in Atlanta, fellow group members Wanya Morris and Nathan Morris informed CNN of the unfortunate news. “We tour eight months out of the year, and we are always traveling around,” Nathan Morris told CNN. “It’s hectic for us always being in airplanes and airports. He got sick, and it hit him pretty hard.” Stockman was unable to travel to Atlanta for the group’s scheduled performance, during a night filled with performances from emerging and returning R&B/soul talent including Toni Braxton. Sources say the group appeared at the show with intentions of performing as a duo Tuesday. Stockman is said to be feeling better. As previously reported, Boyz II Men, noted for hits like “One Sweet Day” and “End of the Road,” had been on tour in support of their forthcoming album titled “Love”. The album hits stores and digital retailers November 17.
