Beyonce has scored another number one hit thanks to “Sweet Dreams”. Taken from the singer’s Platinum-plus certified “I Am… Sasha Fierce,” Beyonce’s “Sweet Dreams” moved from 2-1 on this week’s Dance/Club Play Songs chart. “Sweet Dreams” becomes Beyonce’s 11th number one single to be scored since “Crazy In Love” topped charts in 2003. In related news, Beyonce is due to perform at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards next week. Taking place Sunday, September 13th, this year’s MTV Video Music Awards are also due to feature performances from Jay-Z and Lady Gaga. Beyonce is up for nine awards including Best Video for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”.
