Jennifer Hudson and fiance’ David Otunga were so excited about their recently born baby boy (David Otunga Jr.), they refused to determine the sex prior to birth and reportedly bought both pink and blue clothes and other items. Now that their baby boy has arrived the duo face the daunting task of either taking the items back or giving them away. Nonetheless, the newborns birth is just the icing on the cake for an already stellar year. As previously reported on Singersroom, Hudson gave birth late Monday, August 10 to a baby boy. Weighing in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces, Hudson’s baby boy was immediately named after his father David Daniel Otunga (Jr.). Otunga’s birth follows Hudson’s meteoric success and triumphant return from a troubled fall of 2008. In less than eight months Hudson has not only won a Grammy for Best R&B Album but, also headlined her first tour; performed at the SuperBowl (NFL), and picked up three NAACP Image Awards.
