X Factor finalists JLS have reached no.1 on the UK Singles Chart, thanks to their brand new single “Beat Again”. Selling over 100,000 copies in its first week, “Beat Again” is not only JLS’ first single but 2009s best-selling first week total on the UK singles chart. “Beat Again” flew just above previous chart-topper Lady Gaga and even Michael Jackson’s resurgence on the chart with “Man In The Mirror (no.8)”. As previously reported on Singersroom, JLS is due to release their debut album soon and have inked a contract with Epic stateside. JLS stands for Jack The Lad Swing. “Beat Again” is available now through digital retailers.
