Mariah Carey can rest a bit easier Thursday, thanks to the eighty-nine spot jumping single “Obsessed”. “Obsessed,” from Carey’s forthcoming album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” debuted at no.11 on Billboard’s coveted Hot 100 singles chart Thursday. Produced by The-Dream, “Obsessed” also became Carey’s fortieth entry on the Hot 100 and her highest debut since 1998. As previously reported on Singersroom, the diva’s forthcoming album follows the 2008 Platinum-cerfitied “E=MC2” and the singles “Stay In Love” and “Touch My Body”. “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” is due in stores and digital retailers August 25.
