With a major hit like “Birthday Sex” under his belt, picking a follow up “was a battle” for Def Jam star Jeremih. “It was a battle but “Imma Star” is mih (my) next single,” Jeremih wrote on Twitter earlier this week. “Hopefully the 2nd of a few more off the album IN STORES!!” Wasting no time, Jeremih shot the video for “Imma Star” in Los Angeles over the weekend, tweeting “halfway thru da video shoot. So far, so good…” At this time there is no word as to who might be appearing in Jeremih’s video. But, the singer did admit “thinking about da same shawty from birthday sex video…. she did have sum eyes on her tho”. Jeremih’s self titled debut album is in stores now. According to Nielsen Soundscan, it moved roughly 59,000 copies in its first week.
