When it comes to soulful music from what some would call an R&B crooner, actress and recent Slip N Slide Records signee Drew Sidora says Musiq Soulchild is a winner. “Oh man. Iâm a fan of Musiq Soulchild. Since day one Iâve been a huge fan, just because of his style and his ability and his lyrics,” Sidora tells Singersroom. “He always has a way of making women feel so beautiful and so empowered.” Sidora, known for roles in the CW series ‘The Game’, ‘Step Up’ and ‘White Chicks,’ is slated to take an anticipated step into music later this year thanks to a deal with Slip N Slide. Joining everyone from Rick Ross and Trina to Jagged Edge and Shonie, Sidora has teamed up with a number of trendsetting producers and will release a single this summer. Among those producers is Grammy Award-winning Hip Hop star Missy Elliott. Sidora’s as-yet-untitled album is due late 2009.
