Her new album may be titled “Lady Love” but, don’t let the title fool you into thinking the “She Ain’t Got” singer follows stereotypical rules placed on women. “I dare a person to tell me what I can’t do,” LeToya tells XXL for its June/July issue. After belting out strong singles like “Torn” and “Not Anymore,” both related to broken relationships and finding the strength to move forward, LeToya has picked up a few bits of valuable information. In fact, the Houston based songbird has learned that you can’t forget about yourself when it comes to relationships. “A lot of times in relationships we tend to sacrifice ourselves as women. We forget to please ourselves and make sure that we’re OK,” she shares. Le Toya’s forthcoming album, titled “Lady Love,” is slated to arrive in stores this summer.
