Donna Summer and John Legend are officially signed on to perform during Foxwood Resort and Casino’s summer concert series. Joining Keyshia Cole, Keri Hilson, Kathy Griffin and India Arie, the duo will set foot on one of the East Coast’s premier destinations for just about any kind of fun under the sun. “Foxwoods and MGM Grand at Foxwoods are incredibly honored to host some of the biggest names in show business this summer,” said Michael Speller, President of Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprises (MPGE). “What’s more, we pride ourselves in offering something for everyone, from sports enthusiasts to concert-goers and everyone in between. Our exciting summer events will continue to guarantee our guests enjoy an unparalleled entertainment experience.” Smokey Robinson, Sting and Gladys Knight will also join in on the fun via separate concert dates (see intinerary below). In addition to stellar performances, Foxwood has added a wide array of culilnary options including a special Phantom Gourmet Summer Beach BBQ Party, set for June 19-21. As done in recent years, Foxwood will run its “Legends in Concert” tribute show that features live recreations of yesterday’s and today’s superstars, including Elvis, Whitney Houston, Cher and Rod Stewart (July-September in the Fox Theater).
