Days after a post on Twitter claimed “I did just watch a clip of him saying he isn’t a monster… yeah (…) u are, ” Hip Hop star Eve has come forward to clear her name. It all started on an Eve Twitter account Wednesday, now confirmed to be a fake, when Chris Brown’s “I Ain’t A Monster” video debuted. Using Twitter as an outlet, the impostor, writing as Eve, wrote: “He’s guilty until proven innocent and no man should ever raise a hand to a woman. I’m so sick of people kissin’ his a*s… I did just watch a clip of him saying he isn’t a monster… yeh motherf***er u are. Let him or any other man come up to me with power fists… id f**k him up.” Nonetheless, the words, including the “I’d F him up” meant for Brown, shocked fans and later made its way to the real Eve. According to her publicist, “Eve doesn’t Twitter – ever. It is not her who tweeted about Chris Brown.” Unlike the real Eve, the Twitter impostor parted ways stating “I’m so sick of the media trying to sugar coat a serious issue”. As previously reported, Brown is now set to face Rihanna and other subpoenaed witnesses at a June 22 hearing.
