Anticipation for Hip Hop heavyweight Eminem’s latest effort “Relapse” was not only strong in the United States, UK fans were eager too. According to chart reports issued Sunday, Eminem’s “Relapse” is no.1 in the U.K. and also becomes the fast selling album to date this year. News of Eminem’s U.K. chart-topper comes just days before U.S. album sales figures are released via Billboard. Estimates compiled late last week showed Eminem locked in for a no.1 debut with over 600,000 copies sold. If those figures materialize Eminem’s “Relapse” would shatter records set by U2 earlier this year. “Relapse” is Eminem’s first album to be released in over four years.
